Volunteer

Bike Week, including the Great Brisbane Bike Ride, is organised by Bicycle Queensland, a non-profit organisation who pedal the message of getting more people cycling more often. We aim to encourage people of all ages, sizes, abilities and levels of fitness to get into the saddle by offering a variety of events during Bike Week. These events take an enormous effort to organise and simply cannot happen without the generous help of a large team of volunteers.

Volunteering for Bicycle Queensland events is all about learning new skills, meeting new people and having fun. There are a wide variety of volunteer roles available, including general admin, distributing food at rest stops, customer service, being a marshal out on the bike route and many more.
